Application Support Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supplier Stock Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless communication and support for our valued suppliers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• International Supplier Support: Providing timely and efficient support to international suppliers through various channels, including email and phone.

• Issue Resolution: Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to our platform and inventory management systems.

• Query Handling: Addressing and resolving supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.

• Collaboration and Internal Support: Collaborating closely with sales, development, operations, and other internal teams to ensure seamless processes, efficient problem-solving, and timely support for data-related queries.

• Integrations: Working with various integration points like APIs, FTP, SFTP, Google Sheets, and more to ensure data accuracy and system connectivity.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in application support or a related field

• Good understanding of SQL and ability to write and execute queries

• Experience in providing live support and handling international customer inquiries

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Analytical mindset and ability to identify root causes of issues.

• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with suppliers and internal teams

• Experience with diamonds or the jewelry industry is a plus

• Basic knowledge of coding or a strong desire to learn is advantageous

Preferred Skills:

• Experience handling API-related issues

• Proficiency in Hindi and Gujarati (verbal)

• Coding experience

• Exposure to Data Analysis
