Product Marketing Manager

Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing. The Product Marketing Manager role requires a passionate Go-to-Market professional who will be a subject matter expert (SME) in our products and markets – with particular focus on the Canadian market – as part of our global product marketing team. The ideal candidate has strong written skills, enjoys switching between tactical & strategic work, and is constantly focused on solving the problems facing our customers. Our Product Marketing team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product to driving launch and net new sales to growing product adoption post-launch.

What You Will Do:
Market Research + Messaging
• Lead the market and customer research for your territory. Use the market research to provide direction to your respective territories and act as an area SME.
• Monitor and inform our team on market trends. But also be able to distill the trends and raw information into insights. 
• Meet regularly with your peers on the product, sales, and marketing teams to ensure our work solves the most pressing problems of our market.
• Create and circulate positioning briefs to share your learnings and enable others with the information and the story of why it’s important for our customer’s success.

Product launch
• Work regularly with Sales, Customer Success, Product Development, and Marketing to build & execute the Go-to-Market motion for new products/features coming to your territory.
• Create or continually improve upon all sales enablement tools – proposals, collateral, and case studies needed to help improve win rates and shorten days-to-close.
• Support the GTM teams through regular live sessions, written outlines, and hands-on interaction to keep our teams up to date on the latest market trends and product developments.

Cross-functional enablement
• Identify and drive functional and process improvement related to both sales and buyer enablement, ensuring internal teams and prospects feel informed on our solutions.
• Partner with Sales ICs and Sales leadership to gain full insight into the customer buying cycle and identify opportunities for marketing & sales funnel improvements.
• Create content that delivers customer value throughout the marketing funnel through to a successful sale and for the expansion sales process. 

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of Product Marketing experience in B2B environments.
  • College degree in business, marketing, or related field. 
  • Pragmatic marketing certifications are preferred. 
  • Proven ability to develop clear, concise messaging that resonates with buyers.
  • Experience identifying projects, prioritizing, and executing to completion with limited guidance. 
  • Strong written communication skills that lend to detailed proofreading and written content.
  • Highly organized, comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You have a history of building rapport and collaborating with other teams.
  • Experience presenting to groups, must be able to hold the attention of leadership and sales teams 
  • Experience in a team selling to multiple industries or with multiple product lines is a plus.
